I am a user experience designer who graduated from the User Experience Academy at DesignLab with a Bachelors in Marketing at The University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business.
MY PAST
From Business to Design? Yes. Before I knew I wanted to become a User Experience Designer, I loved being an acrylic painter, who loved to understand people's psychological behaviour and was driven by constant improvement in all things. However, it took me many years to realize User Experience design was my calling.
In early February of 2017, I enrolled in the UX Academy bootcamp at Designlab. This course had taught me a lot through many case studies and a passion project of my own, starting from research all the way to UI Design, while continuously iterating after user testing. Through this program, I had the opportunity to meet both local and global aspiring UX designers and mentors to discuss our passion for UX and to push each other to become better designers.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
I build fast and execute on products for the people that will use them. In the end, I don't settle on a "just okay" product, I aim to deliver products, services and experiences that are unique, delightful and beautiful.
I believe there is a time in every project to try something completely different.
I believe in constant communication between all hands in a project.
I believe there's always a better version of the product and work can always be improved.
I believe in the design process to create fascinating solutions that people will love.
LASTLY
As I continuously challenge myself everyday to better myself, I hope I had a part in inspiring you to do the same for yourself.
